Group-Basic Training Consultation Hours

January Hartze, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and EMDR institute Facilitator, will provide group consultation for individuals that need additional hours to fulfill the requirements for EMDR Institute’s basic Training. This group will be held virtually and is designed to provide the Consultee with 2.5 hours, and an increased ability to understand the concepts of the AIP model and the eight phases of EMDR Therapy.

Consultation Hours for Certification

If choosing to prepay for all individual consultation hours for certification:

$180 for 1 hour

$340 for 2 hours

$480 for 3 hours

$600 for 4 hours

$700 for 5 hours

January Hartze, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and EMDR institute Facilitator, will provide individual consultation for individuals that are working towards becoming an EMDR Certified Therapist with EMDRIA. Prerequisites for Consulting for Certification are already completing and receiving the Basic Training Certificate. An EMDR Certified Therapist has engaged in at least 20 hours of consultation with an EMDR Consultant for EMDR and has practiced their skills with at least 25 different clients in at least 50 EMDR sessions. To maintain this certification, a therapist must continue to satisfy the EMDRIA requirement including completion of continuing education requirements and adherence to ethical standards and why it’s unique.

January will provide Group consultation for individuals that are working towards becoming an EMDR Certified Therapist with EMDRIA. Prerequisites for Consulting for Certification are already completing and receiving the Basic Training Certificate. An EMDR Certified Therapist has engaged in at least 20 hours of consultation with an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and has practiced their skills with at least 25 different clients in at least 50 EMDR sessions. A maximum of 10 hours can be done in a group setting. The remaining 10 hours can be done in individual sessions with a consultant or within the group format as individual presentations.

Group

EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training (CIT)

2.5 Hours

$100 for 2.5 hours

or $180 if you prepay and sign up for 5 hours (2 group dates)

Maximum group size: 4

January will provide individual consultation for individuals that are working towards becoming an EMDR Certified Therapist with EMDRIA. CITs must be currently licensed, have completed EMDR training at least 3 years ago and are currently EMDRIA certified. To move forward and apply for Approved Consultant status, CITs must provide a letter from an EMDRIA Approved Consultant stating they have completed a minimum of 20 hours of consultation. They must have previously completed 300 EMDR sessions with at least 75 clients, completed 12 hours of EMDRIA approved CEUs and provide 2 letters from colleagues attesting to their ethics.
